Workshop on: “Contemporary challenges in project and program management” Brasov, 23 - 24 March 2010
As a result of the complexity ensuing from approaching the management of projects and program nowadays, the participants and the teaching staff of the skills enhancement course “Project and Program Management” conducted between 01.03-06.03 2010 organized a workshop entitled “THE 1st INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON CONTEMPORARY CHALLENGES IN PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT”. Its aim was to provide a forum for debating over the intricacies of planning, initiating, conducting and closing projects and programs within military/security establishments. The ideas and conclusions of the workshop were published in a collective volume oriented towards the practical side of the field approached and called “CONTEMPORARY CHALLENGES IN PROJECT AND PROGRAM MANAGEMENT”.       The workshop unfolded between 23.03. - 24.03.2010 and brought together defense and security professionals both from Romania and from abroad.
